Q: What if my molding, vent, tread, or riser doesn't match the flooring?
A: Wood is a natural product and subject to variation in color, character, and grain because no two trees produce the same color or grain pattern. Natural wood characteristics such as mineral streaks, knots and grain variations are to be expected and are not considered defects. Therefore, our product is gauranteed to blend to the manufacturer's flooring. Prior to installing hardwood flooring, we recommend that the installer sorts through and sets aside several pieces of flooring that most accurately blend with the hardwood moldings. We do not accept returns on product already installed.

If your product doesn't blend to your flooring, DON'T place another order assuming you'll receive something different. We blend to a specific color standard on file for every order (except true naturals) and our color standard may need to be updated. Please see our Returns Policy on how to place a return request. Our returns department will let you know the next steps.

Exotic Species Notice: Exotic hardwoods can exhibit a wide range of colors and grain patterns, all of which change with time and light exposure, both artificial and natural. Artistic Finishes' products will display this same color variability. With time and light exposure, Artistic Finishes' moldings will change color to blend beautifully with the flooring with which it is installed.

Enduracor Notice: Due to the .4mm wear layer used to achieve the look of the manufacturer's flooring, Enduracor™ moldings are meant to blend to the color range in the floor, but not necessarily to any species characteristics or special finish textures you may see in the actual floor. See our Enduracor blending capabilities HERE. 

Warranty
Q: Do you have a warranty?
A: Artistic Finishes, Inc.™ warrants to the original purchaser that Artistic Finishes’ moldings, vents, treads and risers will be free of defects in materials and workmanship; however the products are not warranted against excessive force, heavy foot traffic or accidental breakage. Artistic Finishes warrants that its custom, factory applied finish will not chip, peel or wear through to the wood, under conditions of normal residential use, for the period of one full year following installation.See our full warranty HERE.
